The main objective of this role:
The Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across Clean Air sites in Europe. This role focuses on optimizing processes, accelerating cost-saving programs, and aligning strategic goals with regional operations. The position plays a key role in deploying best practices, supporting critical CAPEX projects, and ensuring performance through structured governance and collaboration.
The role:
As an Operational Excellence Lead (Europe), you will help drive our goals by:
- Leading implementation of operational excellence initiatives aligned with sector and regional strategies.
- Governing and supporting the delivery of regional cost-saving programs and OPEX pipelines.
- Supporting execution of key regional CAPEX projects to enhance productivity and capability.
- Driving deployment of operational discipline, KPIs, and performance systems.
- Identifying and applying best practices and Lean methodologies (e.g., VSM, Six Sigma).
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
- Ensuring alignment with JM Production System (JMPS) and Accelerate framework.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or project management
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
