We currently have a vacancy for a System Administrator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert. The work will be carried out in the company’s premises, on site at customer premises and remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team remotely.
Your tasks:
- Monitor Microsoft Update announcements and manage mitigation;
- Emergency Patching/Application of mitigation/workarounds;
- Update management of Windows and Linux Azure/AWS VMs;
- Upgrade/Migrate Microsoft Server 2012R2 server instances to latest OS versions (e.g., Domain controllers);
- Monitor performance of servers, anticipate issues, and propose solutions;
- Automated configuration management of on prem and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Ansible/Terraform);
- Second line user account management/support.
Requirements
- University degree, combined with professional experience of more than 6 years’ experience;
- Experience with automated configuration management of on prem and cloud infrastructure (e.g. Ansible/Terraform);
- Experience with application mitigation and emergency patching;
- Experience with upgrade and migration of Windows Server instances to latest OS versions;
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux;
- Very good knowledge of Azure/AWS Virtual Machines;
- Very good knowledge of server performance monitoring;
- Excellent command of the English language.
