About this role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Information Security engineering organisation. In this role, you will be working alongside a software development team responsible for building resilient, highquality systems that support global threat detection, entitlement management, compliance processes, and audit assurance initiatives. You’ll work closely with engineers in an agile team, carrying out functional testing, designing and maintaining automation scripts, and expanding testing infrastructure to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across multiple products with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and quality. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Write and maintain a functional test case suite covering multiple applications. 

  • Write and maintain automation test scripts across multiple applications. 

  • Join in technical discussions, identifying testing requirements. 

  • Identify and document defects clearly in ADO. 

  • Apply and contribute to best practices for code quality, testing, automation, and performance. 

 

Qualifications / Competencies 

  • Experience with object-oriented design. 

  • Strong knowledge of testing tools/frameworks such Selenium, Cucumber and REST APIs. 

  • Experience with SQL and understanding of navigating databases. 

  • Understanding of clean architecture and maintainability with design patterns like the page object model. 

  • Experience working with a fast-paced agile software development team. 

  •  

Nice to Have 

  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 

  • Interest in financial systems, accounting, investment technology or cyber security. 

  • An eye for detail, spotting what others miss 

  • Interest in problem solving and keeping up with the latest testing techniques.
