The role requires customer-focused communication, basic IT understanding, flexibility, and a valid driving license. Previous customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.

Provides sales, information, and customer assistance at the University’s visitor centre and gift shop. Welcomes visitors, supports retail operations, answers questions, uses computer systems, manages workload independently, and maintains a friendly, helpful service environment. The role is permanent and part-time at 14 hours per week, requiring prior retail and customer service experience, flexibility, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Provide excellent customer service, promote and sell products, maintain attractive merchandising and displays, process payments, manage inventory and stock (cycle counts, SKU checks, replenishment), handle guest queries and complaints, ensure store cleanliness and FIFO for perishables, assist with deliveries and vessel safety duties as needed.
