Paid six-month programme for UK service leavers and elite athletes to build professional skills and learn about asset management and financial services. Participants may work across Legal and Compliance, Aladdin Engineering, Client Services and Solutions, Aladdin Client Business, or Internal Audit. Applicants must meet military or professional athlete eligibility criteria and be legally authorized to work in Edinburgh. The programme starts in February 2027 and uses a predominantly office-based hybrid model.

Monitor and analyze investment, portfolio, and fund performance; produce monthly/quarterly/ad hoc client reports and investor data requests; ensure accuracy of performance reporting and internal databases; collaborate with Valuation, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, and Operations; assist with operational due diligence and support new product launches and custom client requests.

Build scalable, full-stack, AI-enabled products for BlackRock’s Aladdin investment compliance and analytics workflows. Lead technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement. Apply generative AI, semantic search, retrieval, intelligent assistants, and agentic workflows responsibly. Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into deliverable solutions. Influence architecture, champion DevOps and SRE practices, mentor engineers, and promote quality, resilience, security, observability, and maintainability across a global organization.

Hands-on engineer to configure, test and support migration from SailPoint IdentityIQ to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. Work includes building workflows, rules, connectors, provisioning, troubleshooting integrations and data issues, documenting configs and runbooks, collaborating with application and security partners, and improving identity automation and operational readiness.

Review and analyze private fund documentation (LPAs, side letters, MFNs) to identify non-standard drafting or missing documents, support fee and terms data analysis, validate FAIR outputs, and collaborate with senior lawyers and operations to deliver accurate client reporting.

Leads flagship AI Labs initiatives from scoping and research through production deployment. Designs and evaluates AI agents and agentic workflows, guides production-grade architecture, establishes quality and safety measurement, and partners with business and engineering stakeholders. Manages and mentors 3–6 AI scientists while communicating technical outcomes to senior leaders and broader audiences.
