Partner with business and technical teams to capture and document ServiceNow requirements, transform needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, ensure alignment with ITSM, CSDM and CMDB standards, support UAT and validation, recommend process and reporting improvements, and coordinate BAU and strategic platform initiatives.

Advise MASS, ICB, Transition Management and BlackRock Life Limited across EMEA on legal and regulatory risk; negotiate and draft advisory, investment management, transition and partnership agreements; advise on MiFID, outsourcing and fund distribution; coordinate external counsel; support governance and policy engagement.

Own and govern investment and risk analytics within BlackRock’s Aladdin Data platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, scalability, and commercial value. Develop analytics solutions and proofs of concept, address complex quantitative and financial-market requirements, and coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and client teams. Apply expertise in private markets, risk models, portfolio returns, performance attribution, and whole-portfolio analytics, including integration of eFront and Preqin capabilities.

Supports investment accounting and reporting services for financial institution clients, with emphasis on monthly close, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, audits, controls, and process improvement. Advises clients on US GAAP, IFRS, US Statutory, and insurance accounting requirements; supports client implementations and retention; leads cross-functional initiatives; manages vendor priorities; trains accounting staff; and reviews NAIC and other regulatory reconciliations.

As a Java Back-End Engineer, you'll architect, code, and mentor in building resilient systems for global post-trade operations, focusing on high-performance software and data analytics.

Oversee daily securities lending operations, including transaction processing, collateral and inventory monitoring, reconciliations, exception resolution, reporting, and operational risk controls. Partner with trading, portfolio management, technology, custodians, brokers, and service providers. Support automation, process improvements, new business initiatives, documentation, governance, and remediation efforts while providing guidance to analysts.

Applicants must meet military or professional athlete eligibility criteria and be legally authorized to work in Edinburgh. The programme starts in February 2027 and uses a predominantly office-based hybrid model.
